I am delighted to speak to you as SRATS’s new President. It is with great pleasure that SRATS invites you to Bucharest to participate in the SRATS CONGRES 2020, which will be held from April 2 – 4 at Willbrook Convention Center.

Looking back at the two previous international congresses successfully organized by SRATS, we are proud of what we have accomplished: SRATS has grown in recent years, positioning our scientific society at the forefront of scientific event organisers dedicated to the field of Arthroscopy and Sports Trauma. This is all thanks to you and your scientific support.

SRATS CONGRESS 2020 is the third biennial scientific event, where the orthopaedic surgeons’ community and related fields of practice are expected to participate, next to prestigious international speakers and our industry partners.

The meeting is dedicated to disseminating the most up to date information available in the fields of Knee, Shoulder, Ankle Arthroscopy and Knee related surgery. With the participation of a high number of top rated international and national invited speakers, we propose a three day scientific program consisting of Highlight Lectures, Keynote Lectures, Instructional Courses, Symposia, Debates, Round Tables, Free Paper Sessions, e-Posters and Lunch Workshops; the program will also include Physiotherapy, Radiology and a new Nurse Day section.

The Scientific Program includes important topics such as anterior cruciate ligament surgery, meniscal repair techniques and also the surgery of the arthritic knee; total knee versus unicompartimental knee will be a part of the Program, alongside with the place and tips for tibial osteotomy. Shoulder sessions will point out recent developments in instabilities and rotator cuff pathology; ankle sessions with focus on instability and achilean tendinopathy.
